Asante Africa Foundation Tanzania is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to oversee finance and administration functions, ensuring strong financial management, compliance, budgeting, reporting, payroll administration, asset management, and overall operational effectiveness. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting programs that create opportunities and positive change for young people across Tanzania.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as:

  • CPA (T)
  • ACCA
  • Equivalent professional certification

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in finance and administration.
• Experience working in:

  • NGOs
  • INGOs
  • Donor-funded environments

• Strong knowledge of Tanzanian financial regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience managing donor-funded projects and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as:

  • QuickBooks
  • Sage
  • Navision

• Excellent:

  • Analytical skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Communication skills

The Ideal Candidate Should Have

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPA (T), ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in NGO, INGO, or donor-funded environments.
• Strong understanding of Tanzania's financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting systems.
