Job Purpose
Halotel is seeking qualified and motivated Finance Officers to support financial operations by maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring transactions, reconciling payments, and ensuring compliance with company financial procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain accurate financial data in the ERP system.
- Collect, organize, and maintain financial records to ensure easy accessibility and readability.
- Review and verify expenses submitted by employees.
- Monitor incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable.
- Maintain all trade invoices and ensure that payments are reconciled regularly.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Purchase Orders, as well as the terms and conditions related to BTS fuel.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure expense sheets are reconciled on a regular basis.
- Ensure that all financial documents are properly stored, safe, and secure.
- Analyze financial data to assess the overall financial health of the company.
- Prepare cost-reduction analyses and action plans at the individual, team, and departmental levels.
- Monitor approved budgets and ensure that branch and departmental requests remain within the allocated budget.
Qualifications, Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
- Ability to communicate financial concepts and processes effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and email communication.
