Tan Business Channel Online TV has been established by Tan Business Channel, which was registered as a business entity by BRELA through Certificate Number 542808 issued on 17^th May 2023

The firm has been involved in providing entrepreneurial education to the youth through e-Books, website and YouTube channel. From the beginning, we have maintained a leading position as a household name through a YouTube channel –Tan Business Channel. Currently, the Tan Business You Tube Channel has over 30,000 subscribers and has achieved 1.2. million views. 

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Journalist for the Tan Business Channel Online TV. Located in Kinondoni Municipal, the role allows for a combination of in-office and remote work. The Journalist will be responsible for writing news pieces, crafting press releases, conducting thorough research, and broadcasting content for an online TV platform. The role involves staying updated on current events to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• University Degree, majoring on Journalism from a recognized training institution
• Strong skills in Writing, News Writing, and Press Releases
• Experience in Research to ensure well-informed and accurate reporting
• Proficiency in Broadcasting, including familiarity with online TV platforms
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a hybrid environment
• Prior experience in a journalism or broadcasting role is advantageous
