Tanzania Human Rights Defenders Coalition (THRDC)

The Tanzania Human Rights Defenders Coalition (THRDC) is a non-governmental, non-partisan organization established in 2012 to protect and promote the rights of human rights defenders (HRDs) in Tanzania. As of October 2021, THRDC comprises approximately 170 members on the mainland and about 30 in Zanzibar, including both individual HRDs and human rights organizations.
