Job Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania (Full time, Onsite)

Position Overview:

We are hiring a Professional for the role of Sales Executive who is highly ambitious and self-driven with a passion for a career in sales and a hunger for success. This role is designed for someone who is a hunter in a sales role, who envisions themselves evolving into a Strategic BDM, Head of Sales or Chief Sales Officer in the coming years. Requirements

Key Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in IT Solutions sales experience focused on hunting, acquiring new accounts, and competitive market analysis.
  • Enterprise software sales experience, with a strong sales track record of selling to enterprises & the public sector in Africa and globally.
  • Expertise in RFPs, bidding processes, and procurement regulations
  • Expertise in selling diverse IT solutions such as software products, enterprise solutions, digital platforms, and innovative tech services
  • Experience of working as an individual contributor in direct sales in ICT sector in hunting roles, working across African markets
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • New Business Acquisition: Aggressively hunt for new accounts, leveraging market intelligence and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
  • High-Impact Sales Execution: Close high-value deals, ensuring consistent revenue growth and profitability.
  • Market Research and develop GTM strategy: Analyze data and trends to identify new growth opportunities and markets.
  • Public Sector & Enterprise Sales: Drive business development with large enterprises and public sector clients, understanding their procurement processes and sales cycles.
  • Strategic Sales Initiatives: Develop and execute sales strategies for high-growth markets, particularly in Africa.
  • Engagement with Multilateral Organizations: Navigate and build relationships with institutions like World Bank, IFC, European Union, USAID, and similar organizations to drive revenue opportunities.
  • Leadership Development: Work closely with senior leadership, receiving direct mentorship to prepare for a future executive role.
  • Integrity & Ethical Selling: Maintain the highest standards of integrity while executing aggressive sales strategies.
