External Collaborator

Role Description

The External Collaborator will work on-site in Dar es-Salaam in a full-time capacity. Responsibilities include supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of projects and initiatives aligned with the UN's mission. The role involves research, report writing, and collaboration with various stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and international organizations. The External Collaborator will also contribute to capacity-building efforts, facilitate workshops, and ensure alignment with the UN’s strategic goals.
Qualifications

• Strong communication, report writing, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
• Experience in research, data analysis, and project implementation
• Knowledge of international development, human rights, or humanitarian assistance topics
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments and adapt to dynamic situations
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional official UN languages is a plus
• At least three years of relevant professional experience in a similar field
• Master’s degree in International Relations, Development Studies, or a related discipline; a bachelor’s degree with equivalent work experience is also acceptable
