Position: Engineer I (Environmental) – 1 Post

Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect data for carrying out Environmental and Social Impact Assessments.
- Follow up on construction sites to ensure occupational health and safety regulations are adhered to.
- Undertake and design solid waste management systems.
- Identify and quantify the extent of pollution, including water and groundwater pollution.
- Prepare conceptual design proposals and briefs for various projects.
- Develop design proposals into workable drawings as instructed by the Supervisor.
- Prepare complete detailed construction Environmental (Plumbing) Engineering installation drawings for building projects.
- Understand and apply current legislation, including policies, Acts, regulations, codes, and manuals related to Environmental Engineering installations in building project design.
- Prepare preliminary bills of quantities and cost estimates for Environmental Engineering installation projects for review.
- Prepare draft project work programs, schedules, and budgets.
- Carry out physical site data collection for technical audits and assignments related to building projects.
- Participate, under guidance, in conducting condition surveys for existing structures and prepare reports.
- Search for and collect building project design data and submit it to the Supervisor before use in design work.
- Collect data for carrying out feasibility studies.
- Undertake and/or coordinate Environmental and Social Impact Assessments.
- Perform any other duties assigned by superiors from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
- Holder of a Bachelor Degree in one of the following fields:
- Quantity Surveying.
- Building Economics.
- Building Survey.
- Construction Management.
- Or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
- Must be registered by AQRB or be a Graduate Quantity Surveyor.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze project financial performance.
- Develop budget frameworks for development projects.
- Conduct project feasibility studies and prepare financial projections.
- Monitor project development finance portfolios.
- Monitor project costs against budgets and forecasts.
- Manage project financing arrangements and debt instruments.
- Identify, monitor, and manage project development risks.
