Front Office Manager

We are looking for an experienced, organized, high EQ and hands-on Front Office Head to oversee the entire guest journey on the island, from arrival at the airport, or ferry, to transfers, activities, fitness, spa, special celebrations, events, overall guest experience, etc.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys freedom to create and manage unique guest experiences in a fast paced environment un-burdened by internal politics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Front Office, Spa Reception, and Gym Reception teams
  • Deliver exceptional guest service throughout the entire guest journey
  • Oversee reservations, check-in, check-out, room allocations, and billing
  • Handle guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism and care
  • Recruit, train, coach, and motivate the Front Office team
  • Ensure all Front Office SOPs and service standards are consistently maintained
  • Coordinate and oversee all guest transfers and excursions, ensuring seamless planning, communication, and execution with internal teams and external partners
  • Manage the resort's activities and experiences program, ensuring guests receive personalized recommendations and memorable experiences throughout their stay
  • Coordinate closely with Housekeeping to ensure villas are ready and maintained to the highest standards
  • Work with Maintenance to resolve guest-related issues promptly
  • Drive upselling of accommodation, spa treatments, dining experiences, and resort activities
  • Monitor departmental KPIs, guest satisfaction, productivity, and operational performance
  • Prepare reports and support budgeting and departmental planning

Profile We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Front Office leadership role within a boutique hotel or resort
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • · Excellent communication, selling and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience with hotel PMS systems
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Calm, solution-oriented approach under pressure
  • Fluent English (additional languages are an advantage)
  • Experience in remote or island destinations is highly desirable
