Grindrod operates through its logistics division Grindrod Logistics Africa (Tanzania) which provides full-spectrum freight services including road, rail, marine, intermodal shipping, warehousing, customs brokerage, and inland container depot operations. Through its affiliate, Sturrock Grindrod Maritime, the company also offers specialized ship agency and marine technical services across key Tanzanian ports including Dar es Salaam, Tanga, Mtwara, and Mwanza. These units handle vessel documentation, cargo surveys, crew coordination, stevedoring, and technical support for both liner and non-liner vessels.
