Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB)

The Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) known in Swahili as TAKUKURU is the primary government agency in Tanzania responsible for preventing, investigating, and combating corruption, bribery, and economic crimes in public, parastatal, and private sectors. Established under the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Act, CAP 329, it focuses on promoting good governance, educating the public, and prosecuting offenders in collaboration with the Director of Public Prosecutions.
