Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Officer will coordinate testing and inspection of products at various stages of the production process. The role will also involve compiling and evaluating quality data to determine and maintain the quality, consistency, and reliability of products.

Key Performance Indicators and Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and production line processes.
• Apply knowledge of chemical testing and standardization methods.
• Ensure products are produced in accordance with beverage production and quality documentation requirements.
• Inspect raw materials and packaging materials and approve them according to established requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of raw material and packaging material inspections.
• Conduct regular plant audits to identify gaps in process controls.
• Implement and follow up on corrective actions arising from plant audits.
• Conduct product market surveys and test product samples.
• Ensure assigned production processes remain within specified standards at all times.
• Accurately record and document analysis results, process compliance, inspections, and observations of production line processes.
• Communicate effectively with maintenance and production teams to ensure proper functioning of process control devices.
• Prepare reports to validate compliance with existing standards or highlight deviations from required standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Entry Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
