Simiyu Cooperative Union Limited

Simiyu Cooperative Union Limited (SIMCU 2018 Ltd) (often abbreviated as SIMCU) is a cooperative union based in Bariadi District of Simiyu Region, Tanzania, registered under the Co-operative Societies Act.

The union’s primary objective is to provide support and oversight to its member primary cooperative societies particularly those engaged in agricultural production (notably cotton in Simiyu Region) and to uplift the economic standards of farmers in the region through collective action, marketing, processing, and value-addition of their produce.
