Yara International Tanzania

Yara Tanzania Ltd., originally established as Chapa Meli Tanzania Ltd in 2005, became a fully-owned subsidiary of Yara International ASA in 2009, adopting the Yara brand to align with its global identity
Yara Tanzania. To enhance fertilizer accessibility and agricultural development, Yara invested in a fertilizer terminal at the Port of Dar es Salaam, commissioned in 2015, with the capacity to handle over 500,000 tonnes annually approximately double the national requirement.
