Overview
Christian Blind Mission (CBM) is an international Christian development organization founded in 1908 in Germany, and today recognized as one of the world’s largest and oldest NGOs dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities in low- and middle-income countries.
In Tanzania, CBM supports critical eye care programs in partnership with health facilities such as Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre and Bugando Medical Centre in Mwanza, including the Kilimanjaro Glaucoma Intervention Programme, which provides free glaucoma screening and innovative treatment trials for underserved communities.
