Overview
Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTTFA) is a multilateral inter-governmental body established to develop, coordinate, and promote the Central Corridor a multimodal transport and logistics network that links several landlocked African countries (like Burundi, DRC, Rwanda, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia) to the Port of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania.
Its mandate includes promoting efficient and cost-effective transit transport, collecting and sharing transport data, coordinating infrastructure improvements (roads, rail, border posts, ports), harmonising regulations and customs procedures, and encouraging investment along the corridor.
