Overview
EMEDO Tanzania, formally known as the Environmental Management and Economic Development Organization, is a Tanzanian-based non-profit organization founded in 2005 and officially registered in November 2006 (Registration No. OONGO/1771). Headquartered in Mwanza, with offices in the Sweya area near St. Augustine University, EMEDO empowers communities especially women and youth to strengthen their livelihoods through sustainable environmental governance and equitable natural resource management.
