Overview

Mbarali District Council is the local government authority responsible for administration, service delivery and socio‐economic development within Mbarali District, in the Mbeya Region of Tanzania. Established in July 1995 under the Local Government Act No. 8 of 1982 (with subsequent amendment) and beginning operations in July 2000, the Council now oversees 20 wards, 102 villages and 712 hamlets, with its headquarters in Rujewa.
