Overview
Warehouse Receipt Regulatory Board (WRRB) is a government institution in Tanzania under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, established by the Warehouse Receipts Act No. 10 of 2005 and its amendments (including Act No. 3 of 2015) to regulate and promote the warehouse receipt system (WRS).

WRRB’s responsibilities include issuing licences to public warehouses and warehouse operators, registering and accrediting warehouse inspectors and collateral managers, approving negotiable warehouse-receipt books, maintaining a database of licensed facilities, monitoring compliance and setting standards for storage of commodities in the formal system.
