Job Description

As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support of all IT systems, business systems, office systems, computer networks, and telephony systems throughout the lodge. Additionally, you will handle Information Technology issues, products, and services at the property. You will provide user training and support for all property/site systems, network enhancements, and hardware and software support. You will also maintain an inventory of all hardware products and software licenses and review maintenance agreements.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Hospitality, Operations, and IT support roles.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Google Suite Applications.
  • Microsoft or Cisco certification is preferred.
  • Applicable Microsoft certifications: MCSA, MCTS, or MCITP for Windows Server, MCDST for workstations.
  • Experience with Hospitality-related applications and systems (PMS, POS, Key card, PBX, Voice mail, Opera).
  • Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and cultural understanding.
