Job Description

SM Corridor Group (DCG) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Human Resources &

Administration Officer to lead HR and administrative functions across the organization. The successful candidate will drive recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, industrial relations, HR system administration, and ensure smooth administrative operations in line with company policies and standard.

The Candidate Duties and responsibilities (includes but not limited to):

  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure timely filling of vacancies and effective employee integration.
  • Support and manage the bi-annual performance appraisal process, ensuring full completion and proper documentation.
  • Coordinate Employee Satisfaction Surveys and support employee engagement initiatives.
  • Handle disciplinary matters and support industrial relations

processes in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

  • Prepare and validate payroll inputs to ensure high levels of accuracy.
  • Assist in the review and update of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate training and development programs and monitor implementation of training plans.
  • Support HR risk management and legal compliance tracking.
  • Maintain HRIS data accuracy and support system updates and reporting.
  • Assist in HRIS improvements, issue reporting, and user support/training.
  • Prepare and submit HR reports (monthly and quarterly) in a timely manner.
  • Promote occupational health and safety practices, including hazard identification and reporting.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HR and administration, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws, industrial relations, and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
