DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To carry out lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars and practicals for undergraduate programmes
• To prepare and present case studies
• To conduct and publish/disseminate research results
• To participate/contribute in academic curriculum development
• To recognise students having learning difficulties, intervene and provide assistance and support
• To guide students in various academic issues
• To participate in consultancy projects and community service activities under supervision
• To attend workshops, conferences and symposia for professional development
• To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the relevant authorities.  

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Holder of Master of Arts in Development Studies, Masters Arts in Development Evaluation; Master of Arts in Rural Development, Master of Arts in Development Management or Master of Arts in Development Planning and Management,  Master of Planning and Policy Analysis or Arts in Rural Development or Arts in Community Development and Gender Studies and either a Bachelor of Arts with Education or Bachelor of Education in Arts or Bachelor of Development Studies or Community Development and Gender Studies or Entrepreneurship from a recognized academic institution. The candidate should possess a GPA of at least 4.0 points at the Master’s level and a minimum GPA of 3.8 points (out of 5 points) at the Bachelor’s level.  

REMUNERATION: SALARY SCALE: PUTS 2.1
