Job Description
The Infrastructure Manager leads the unit, oversees the bank’s IT infrastructure, and ensures alignment with strategic goals. This role includes both managerial and technical responsibilities to support the team.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Infrastructure Unit, providing strategic direction and ensuring alignment with the bank’s IT strategy.
- Develop, implement, and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices for infrastructure management.
- Oversee the performance, scalability, and security of the bank’s IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Plan and execute infrastructure-related projects, including upgrades, expansions, and automation initiatives.
- Provide technical support to team members when needed, ensuring smooth operations and quick resolution of issues.
- Ensure effective operation of the primary data center and disaster recovery site, maintain data integrity through effective backup and recovery solutions
- Ensure each sub-unit within the Infrastructure Unit has a continuity plan in place to address staff unavailability.
- Establish and monitor SLAs with the MSP to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Prepare and manage the unit’s budget, ensuring cost-efficiency while meeting operational needs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews for team members, identify skill gaps, and facilitate professional development.
- Coordinate with other IT units and departments to ensure efficient integration of infrastructure services.
- Oversee the adoption and integration of cloud technologies, ensuring optimal utilization and cost management
