Relationship Manager – Retail Banking at Access Bank Tanzania

Maximizing the bank's retail business by effectively managing and growing a portfolio of retail clients. The role involves developing deep relationships with clients, identifying their needs, and providing tailored banking solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail banking clients
• Identify client needs and cross-sell appropriate banking products and services
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the retail banking division
• Conduct regular reviews of client accounts and ensure compliance with banking regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and address any client inquiries or complaints promptly
• Assist clients with account openings, loans, and other banking products
• Attend client meetings and networking events to identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Prepare and present reports on sales performance and client feedback to management

Requirements

Academic Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in retail banking or financial services
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships

Skills / Specialized Know How:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to identify and analyze client needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite
