Job Description

Genesis Schools registered in 2002 having well established Cambridge International Schools  at Oysterbay  and Kisota Kigamboni  campus Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, is seeking qualified and dedicated educators to fill multiple teaching positions for the upcoming academic year starting in August 2024. The school offers a rigorous Cambridge curriculum and maintains high education and student development standards.

  1. Grade 1, 2 and 3 Teachers:
  • Responsible for teaching and guiding students in Grade in either grade 1,2 or 3.
  • Plan and implement effective instructional strategies.
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
  1. Upper Primary Teachers:
  • Specialize in teaching English language and literature, Mathematics and Science to upper primary students.
  • Foster a love for reading, writing, and effective communication skills.
  • Create engaging learning experiences that promote language proficiency, numeracy and Science.
  1. Lower Secondary Geography /History teacher
  • Teach Geography and History to lower secondary students.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Geography and History curriculum.
  • Enhance students' critical thinking, reading, and writing abilities.
  1. Lower Secondary   Science Teacher:
  • Teach lower secondary students science subjects (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics).
  • Deliver engaging lessons using hands-on experiments and demonstrations.
  • Assess students' scientific knowledge and skills.
  1. Lower Secondary Maths Teacher:
  • Specialize in teaching mathematics to lower secondary students.
  • Create interactive and challenging lessons to develop mathematical thinking.
  • Evaluate student understanding through assessments and provide targeted support.
  1. Preschool Teacher:
  • Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for preschool-aged children.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.

7.SPECIAL NEEDS TEACHER

Speech therapist

Autism

Provide assistance to special needs children.

All teachers will be expected to:

  • Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and instructional strategies.
  • Assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated with educational best practices and participate in professional development opportunities.
