Job Description

The University of Iringa is a private institution legally operating in Tanzania under the Trusteeship of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania Iringa Diocese. Faculty of Law

Assistant Lecturer

  • Possession of a Master’s degree in Law with at least a GPA of 4.0 and a Bachelor’s degree in Law with at least an Upper Second Class (3.5).

Faculty of Business and Economics

Assistant Lecturer

  • Possession of a Master’s degree in Procurement and Supply/Logistics with at least a GPA of 4.0 and a Bachelor’s degree with at least an Upper Second Class (3.5) in the same area.

Assistant Lecturer

  • Possession of a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management with at least a GPA of 4.0 or above and a Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.5 or above.

Assistant Lecturer

  • Possession of a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance or Accounting and Finance with at least a GPA of 4.0 and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance with at least an Upper Second Class (3.5).

Assistant Lecturer

  • Possession of a Master’s degree in Economics with at least a GPA of 4.0 and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with at least an Upper Second Class (3.5).

Assistant Lecturer

Assistant Lecturer

Librarian

  • Holder of a PhD degree in the relevant field (Information Studies).
  • Proven experience in library operations.
  • Good knowledge of university systems and operations.
  • Language proficiency.

Assistant Librarian

  • Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field (Information Studies).
  • Proven experience in library operations.
  • Good knowledge of university systems and operations.
  • Language proficiency.
  • Must understand how to develop and maintain the core services of a modern library.

Library Technician

  • Holder of a Diploma in the relevant field (Library, Archives, and Documentation Studies).
  • Proven experience in library operations.
  • Good knowledge of university systems and operations.
  • Language proficiency.
  • Must understand how to develop and maintain the core services of a modern library.
