Digital Balozi Programme at Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) Tanzania

Digital Balozi Programme is a youth leadership and empowerment program that recruits, trains, and deploys recent university graduates or underemployed youth  to support youth and women entrepreneurs in their communities. 

As a Digital Balozi, you will receive training in digital skills, green economy, financial literacy, facilitation, and coaching. You will then be placed in your local community (Mwanza, Tanga, or Pemba) to deliver this knowledge to small business owners and promote digital and sustainable growth.

This is a 7-month program that includes; training, field deployment, and career support. It aims to improve your employability and business skills while making a real impact in your community. If you’re passionate about technology, climate, business, and community development — apply to become a Digital Balozi.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Aged between 18-35
2. Passionate about bringing positive impact to your community
3. Currently living in either of these regions (Mwanza, Tanga or Pemba)
4. Recent graduate from any university or college
5. Own a digital device (Smartphone , tablet or Laptop)

What you will need to apply

3. A copy of your ID (eg. passport, NIDA, driving license or equivalent )
