Role Description

The Head of Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Moshi, Tanzania. The responsibilities include overseeing financial management, leading the accounts department, preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining budgets, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The Head of Finance will play a key role in advising on the financial strategy and health of the company, ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations, and optimizing resource allocation to sustain business growth.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
• Expertise in Budgeting and Finance
• Advanced Analytical Skills for financial decision-making and problem-solving
• Proficiency in financial management systems and Quickbooks software
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Masters in Accounting & Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in the tourism or hospitality sector is an advantage
• Familiarity with Tanzanian financial regulations and practices is a plus
• Ability to lead the accounts department.
• Previous work in the tourism sector is an added advantage
