As we continue to expand our services and grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join ouar finance team.

Position Overview

 We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee the financial operations within our hospital. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, as well as maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day financial activities of the hospital, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets.
• Oversee internal controls to safeguard hospital assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and inspections.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff, fostering their professional growth and development.

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare or related care finance or accounting roles, with at least one year in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Thorough understanding of healthcare accounting principles and regulations, including Medical Insurance Reimbursement Scheme.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP, IFRS, etc.
• Working proficiency in hospital management or accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and able to produce all key Financial Statements,
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
