QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER (1 Vacancy)

Nature and scope

The successful candidate will report to the Factory Engineer.  He/She will be responsible for following appropriate laboratory standards as well as controlling the quality of raw materials and finished products, to meet the expectations and objectives of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct product inspections, sample analysis, and quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
• Review and approve quality-related documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records, validation protocols, and quality reports.
• Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analyses, and support the development of corrective and preventive actions to resolve problems and prevent recurrence.
• Identify areas for improvement in quality systems and processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with other departments and teams, such as production, maintenance, and safety, to address quality issues and ensure best practices.
• Training and supporting staff on quality control procedures.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Chemical and processing Engineer, Industrial chemistry, food science, Quality Assurance / management Engineering or related degree.
• At least three (3) years of experience from a reputable organization
• Certified Quality Assurance Professional (CQAP)
• ISO Certified (Quality Management).
