Job Description
- Key Responsibilities – Inventory and Logistics Officer
- Jasiri Prime Cargo Limited
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, track stock movements, and ensure optimal inventory levels to support operational requirements.
- Transportation Coordination: Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods, communicate with drivers and transport providers, schedule deliveries and pickups, and ensure shipments are completed efficiently and on time.
- Warehouse Operations: Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching goods while ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
- Order Processing: Receive and process customer orders accurately, prepare shipping documentation, coordinate order fulfillment, and ensure timely delivery to clients.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to facilitate the smooth flow of goods and information throughout the supply chain, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, delivery notes, invoices, shipment details, and other logistics documentation in both physical and electronic formats.
- Problem Solving and Risk Management: Identify and address operational challenges, resolve inventory discrepancies and delivery issues, implement corrective actions, and proactively manage risks that may affect logistics and supply chain activities.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills to support efficient logistics and inventory operations.
