Job Description
Bridge Carbon LLC is a London-based international carbon project developer committed to building a world-class carbon finance organization that defines the standards for quality, integrity, and transparency across the voluntary carbon markets. The Company utilizes best-in-class carbon methodologies, as well as third-party digital monitoring, reporting, and verification (dMRV) processes to ensure that every ton of carbon credits created can be traced directly to reductions achieved by the Company’s carbon removal activities.
The Role: Acts as the senior Bridge Carbon representative in country and the key point of contact for the business activities and country operations. Drives processes and activities to completion across different business lines in country, proactively leading the development and implementation of program strategies consistent with Bridge Carbon’s global strategy, and ensuring seamless integration between the different business lines and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities include:
Strategic and Operational Planning and Implementation
- Lead Strategic Planning – Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies aligned with global and local objectives to drive business growth in [Country].
- Foster High-Performance Culture – Promote excellence, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across teams. Ensure Operational & Financial Alignment – Oversee execution of the country plan within financial, operational, and compliance frameworks.
- Oversee Monitoring & Evaluation – Implement systems for project tracking, reporting, learning, and timely adjustments. Manage Risk & Compliance – Ensure adherence to Health & Safety standards and proactively mitigate risks.
- Support Operational Setup – Collaborate on establishing local manufacturing operations.
Legal, Financial, Budget & Administration
- Ensure Legal & Regulatory Compliance – Oversee adherence to local laws, especially around carbon credit regulations, permits, and government agreements. Maintain Audit Readiness – Ensure strong performance in financial and carbon audits for the Country Office.
- Establish Financial Infrastructure – Lead setup of bank accounts and mobile money systems to support smooth transactions. Oversee Financial Management – Ensure effective budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control within the country’s financial plan.
Logistics & Asset Management
- Manage Logistics & Supply Chain – Oversee efficient movement of assets, resource distribution, and logistical operations across all business lines.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance – Ensure all cross-border asset transfers meet local and international regulatory requirements.
- Optimize Resource Allocation – Streamline deployment of resources and personnel to support company objectives effectively.
Representation and Communications
- Act as the key contact point with government officials and other external stakeholders; key point of contact for the company’s government relations team to feedback on country policy and regulatory developments ensuring that all country-specific agreements, permits, and carbon-related approvals are secured for all projects.
Staff Development and Management
- Ensure that the Country Office structure and the organization of workflows reflect standardized structure of the organization.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of professionals.
- Ensure local office / team is in compliance with Bridge Carbon institutional policies and procedures.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Minimum of a university level degree in relevant field, higher level degree preferred.
- Strong track record of delivering business operation results in a similar role with an international company.
- Minimum of 10 years of senior management experience.
- Experience in manufacturing management is a plus.

Location and Travel: This position is based onsite at the Bridge Carbon offices in Mwanza, Tanzania.
