International Duty Manager at Cristal Resort Zanzibar

We are looking for a highly operational and guest-focused International Duty Manager to oversee day-to-day hotel operations across our properties in Zanzibar and Vietnam.

This role is key to ensuring service excellence, operational consistency, and guest satisfaction, acting as the main point of contact between departments during daily operations.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, multicultural hospitality environment.Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth coordination between Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Maintenance
• Act as the main on-site representative of management during shifts
• Ensure high standards of guest experience and service delivery across all touchpoints
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests with a proactive and professional approach
• Monitor arrivals, departures, VIP guests, and group movements
• Support the execution of group operations and tour operator requirements
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, brand standards, and health & safety protocols
• Supervise and support team performance, ensuring alignment with service standards
• Coordinate with Reservations and Commercial teams to ensure correct execution of bookings

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a Duty Manager or Front Office management role in hospitality
• Strong operational mindset with the ability to manage multiple departments
• Experience in international or resort environments is highly valued
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
• High level of adaptability and cultural awareness
