Job Description
The Project Manager will lead the planning, implementation, and oversight of technology-driven infrastructure projects, including system installations, gate deployments, and operational monitoring. The role ensures project execution within time, scope, and budget, while also managing ongoing technology operations post-deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex infrastructure and technology projects.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
- Oversee procurement and contracting processes to ensure timely acquisition of goods and services.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including software, operations, network, and field technicians.
- Monitor project budgets, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to cost control policies.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and external stakeholders, including vendors and regulatory authorities.
- Implement mechanisms for tracking project performance and resolving operational issues.
- Establish frameworks for post-implementation system monitoring and performance optimization.
- Report regularly to executive leadership on progress, challenges, and key milestones.
- Drive organizational readiness through change management, training, and communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Additional certifications in Agile, PRINCE2, or Lean Six Sigma are an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale IT projects, preferably in transport, urban infrastructure, or smart city initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams and working with external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successful implementation of ERP or transport automation systems.
