Projects Manager at STELLARIX Tanzania

We are seeking a Projects Manager to plan and deliver technical and operational projects across the Stellarix product portfolio, including customer deployments, infrastructure upgrades, network and systems initiatives, and capacity expansion programs.

The role provides centralized project governance, ensuring clear communication, effective scheduling, accurate tracking, and timely delivery while maintaining safety, compliance, and operational integrity in a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and timelines for data center deployments and infrastructure projects.
• Define and manage project scope, technical requirements, work packages, and execution plans.
• Maintain integrated project calendars and ensure milestones, dependencies, and deadlines are clearly communicated and tracked.
• Drive day-to-day project execution, tracking progress against plan and identifying risks or bottlenecks.
• Act as the primary coordination point between internal teams, vendors, contractors, customers, and executive leadership.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, trackers, risk and issue logs, and change records.
• Lead project close-out activities, including lessons learned and formal handover packages to Operations and Support teams.
• Monitor vendor and contractor performance against SLAs, schedules, and quality standards, escalating concerns as required.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or related field
• 5+ years of experience managing or coordinating projects in data centers, telecom, IT infrastructure, construction, or engineering environments.
• Project management certifications (PMP, CAPM, Prince2 Foundation, Agile fundamentals) are an advantage.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools.
• Understanding of data center infrastructure including power, cooling, racks, cabling, and networking.
