Job Description
We are seeking energetic, self-driven Promotion & Sales Executives to conduct door-to-door sales and product promotions across retail and wholesale outlets. The role involves actively visiting shops, building relationships with store owners, promoting products, generating orders, and increasing market visibility in assigned regions.
This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working in the field, enjoy interacting with people, and are results-oriented.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct door-to-door sales visits to retail and wholesale stores within assigned areas
- Promote company products and communicate value propositions clearly to shop owners
- Acquire new retail and wholesale accounts and maintain existing relationships
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Collect orders, follow up on deliveries, and ensure proper product placement
- Provide market feedback on pricing, competition, and customer needs
- Ensure accurate reporting of daily activities and sales performance
- Represent the brand professionally at all times in the market
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in field sales, promotion, or FMCG sales is an added advantage
- Ability to work door-to-door and move extensively within assigned territories
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Basic understanding of retail and wholesale operations
- Ability to meet targets under minimal supervision
- Must be based in or familiar with the assigned region
- Fluency in Swahili is required; basic English is an advantage
- Having a smartphone is a must requirement
Preferred Attributes:
- Previous experience selling to dukas, supermarkets, wholesalers, or distributors
- Experience in promotions, activations, or route-to-market sales
- Honest, disciplined, and reliable
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required
