Job summary The sales representative will be responsible for selling and promoting the company’s building materials, including, {locks, bawaba, padlocks, hummers, tape measures, power tools, mixers, water heaters and other construction products. The role focuses on generating sales, building strong customer relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Promote and sell building materials to contractors, hardware stores, construction companies, and individual customers;
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory;
  • Conduct regular customer visits to maintain relationships and increase repeat sales;
  • Provide accurate product information, quotations, and pricing details;
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals effectively;
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets;
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs;
  • Prepare daily and weekly sales reports;
  • Follow up on customer payments and ensure timely collections.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Certificate or diploma in sales, marketing, business administration, or related field;
  • 3-5 years of sales experience (experience in building materials is an added advantage);
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Good negotiation and persuasion abilities;
  • Target-driven and self-motivated;
  • Basic computer skills (Ms office);
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned sales area.

  • Achievement of sales targets;
  • Number of new customers acquired;
  • Customer retention rate;
  • Timely collection of payments.
