Solutions Architect at STELLARIX Tanzania

We are seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical design and evaluation of data center and cloud-adjacent solutions.

This role serves as the primary technical advisor, addressing customer requirements, ensuring satisfaction from presales to service activation, and effectively communicating capabilities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design customized data center solutions tailored to the specific needs of enterprise and hyperscale clients.
• Translate customer technical requirements, business goals, growth plans, and workload demands into scalable data center designs.
• Create solution documentation such as technical proposals, rack layouts, power/space cooling (PSC) plans, interconnect diagrams, and service architecture overviews.
• Oversee presales engineering workflows, ensuring that solution designs comply with internal standards, SLAs, and capacity constraints.
• Identify, address, and resolve complex technical, operational, and business issues that arise during design and delivery.
• Lead the technical response and solution design for RFPs, RFIs, and large bids, ensuring proposals are accurate, cost-effective, competitive, and aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate bid requirements and ensure solutions meet profitability targets using standardized business models and approved P&L frameworks.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; MBA is an advantage.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data center, colocation, cloud infrastructure, or ICT presales/solutions architecture.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure including power systems, cooling technologies, racks/cabinets, interconnection, cross-connects, carrier services, and cloud connectivity.
