Job Purpose
The successful candidate will support the IT Function and improve operational efficiency, and the continued expansion of IT services and infrastructure, particularly under initiatives such as K3.1 and K4.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Technical support: provide first-level support to users experiencing technical issues with hardware, software, and network systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, often using remote access tools.
• Assist users with setup, configuration, and usage of IT equipment and software.
• Log and track incidents and service requests in a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
• Perform routine system maintenance such as software updates, backups, and system monitoring.
• Create and maintain documentation for common issues, solutions, and IT procedures.
• Provide training and guidance to users on best practices and new technologies.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures, including managing user access and permissions.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a technical support role.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
• Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting tools is an added advantage.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
