Data Officer

Job Description

• Lead, manage and strengthen data capturing, management and processing for the GLRA supported project.
• Support Peers ensuring all data collected is accurate and is collected using appropriate tools.
• Conduct Data Quality Review records, identify gaps and resolve all data issues immediately after discovery.
• Produce monthly report on time and share it with the team for decision making and project implementation.
• Promote effective, efficient monitoring and evaluation of program activities.
• Together with the project team, participate in weekly progress review meetings and jointly come up with action points.
• Run data quality reports and backups on regular basis, highlighting challenges and address/suggest solution.

Required Qualifications:

• At least a Diploma in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Statistics or Information and Communication
• Technology (ICT) or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a data entry officer in the TB or HIV program settings.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Kiswahili.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintains confidentiality in all aspects.

• Familiarity with government health policies and programmes
• Excellent computer skills in Access, Excel, Word & Power Point.
• Knowledge of community outreach work.
