Our client, a prominent company specializing in cement manufacturing in Tripoli, Libya, is actively seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable professional to join their exceptional team. 

THE JOB 

As an Electrical Maintenance Programmer, you will be responsible for effectively maintaining and programming electrical equipment and systems within our production facilities. The Electrical Maintenance Programmer will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our industrial machinery and optimizing their performance. 

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. 

• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on electrical systems and equipment, including motors, circuit boards, switches, generators, and control panels. 
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve any defects or potential safety hazards. 
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment, ensuring timely servicing and replacement of parts. 
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and execute electrical maintenance activities, minimizing downtime and enhancing equipment reliability. 
• Diagnose and repair complex electrical faults, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. 
• Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) systems to optimize machinery functionality and improve operational efficiency. 
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to implement automation projects and modifications, ensuring compliance with safety standards. 
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment, adhering to industry standards and regulations. 

• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized electrical maintenance and repair tasks. 
• Keep up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to electrical maintenance programming, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives 

QUALIFICATIONS 

The job holder should have the following qualifications.  

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 
• Previous experience of at least 11 years as an Electrical Maintenance Programmer, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment. 
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and industrial control systems. 
• Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) systems. 
• In-depth understanding of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair techniques. 

THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE JOB

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults. 
• Familiarity with safety regulations, electrical codes, and industry standards. 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
• Adaptability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call duty when necessary. 

WHAT WE ARE OFFERING THE RIGHT PERSON 

We are offering the following for the successful candidate: 

1. A competitive gross salary of 1000 – 2500 USD Per Month. 

1. Overtime of 2.5 USD per hour. 

1. Food and local allowance of 300-400 LYD (Libyan dinar). 

1. Free accommodation and transport.
