KILN OPERATOR- LIBYA

Our client, a prominent company specializing in cement manufacturing in Tripoli, Libya, is actively seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable professional to join their exceptional team. 

THE JOB 

As a KILN Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the kiln system effectively and efficiently. Your role will play a vital part in ensuring the production of high-quality cement while adhering to safety protocols and standards. 

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. 

1. Operate the kiln system efficiently, following established procedures and guidelines. 

1. Monitor and control kiln temperature, pressure, and other parameters to ensure optimal performance and production quality. 

1. Inspect and ensure the effective functioning of kiln equipment, instruments, and control systems. 

1. Coordinate with other operators and production staff to maintain a smooth workflow and troubleshoot any potential issues. 

1. Maintain accurate and detailed records of kiln operations, such as temperature readings, material usage, and maintenance activities. 

1. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of kiln systems to identify and rectify any abnormalities or malfunctions promptly. 

1. Assess and adjust the kiln's feed rate and composition to meet desired product specifications. 

1. Monitor air emissions to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and take necessary actions to mitigate any deviations. 

1. Comply with safety and operational procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper waste disposal. 

1. Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and execute kiln repairs, replacements, and component overhauls when necessary. 

1. Stay updated with the latest advancements in kiln operation techniques and technologies to improve operational efficiency and productivity. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

The job holder should have the following qualifications.  

1. Diploma in kiln operations or equivalent qualification. Additional technical education or certifications in a related field will be advantageous.  

1. Proven experience as a Kiln Operator, preferably in a cement manufacturing or similar heavy industry setting. 

1. In-depth knowledge of kiln operation principles, control systems, and equipment associated with cement production.

1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot operational issues effectively. 

1. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. 

1. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, manuals, and specifications. 

1. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality product standards. 

1. Understanding and adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. 

1. Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing work schedules. 

WHAT WE ARE OFFERING THE RIGHT PERSON 

We are offering the following for the successful candidate: 

1. A competitive gross salary of 700- 800 USD Per Month. 

1. Overtime of 2 USD per hour. 

1. Food and local allowance of 300-400 LYD (Libyan dinar). 

1. Free accommodation and transport.
