Physiotherapist

The Physiotherapist will be responsible of the provision of quality health care assistance for patients within the health Centre. He/She will be responsible of the supervision of physiotherapist staffs in accordance with their level of training and the patient’s acuity. He/She will offer guidance and support, maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure that all operational tasks are completed efficiently and on time.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• To treat patients through advanced physiotherapy techniques.
• Provide quality physiotherapy services to SONGAMBELE hospital clients.
• To conduct health education to all clients as required.
• To keep and maintain patient's records.
• To ensure proper keep up of equipment in the Unit.
• To provide community health education on symptom recognition and disability prevention.
• To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by his supervisor.

​Qualifications, experiences and competencies

• Holder of Diploma in Physiotherapy or any related field from a recognized institution
• Registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika
• Must have a valid practicing license
