He has been managing a range of projects/programs from Education, Livelihoods, Health & Water to Child Sponsorship. Program Coordinator who is responsible for coordinating the Child Sponsorship program activities in Tanzania. As a coordinator, I am responsible for the following: • Creating awareness about the Child Sponsorship program in our communities. • Upholding Child Protection within the organization and the communities we work with. • Effective Community mobilization for Children recruitment. • Create and regularly update a database for beneficiaries with pertinent details and documents. • Facilitating Care Group Model implementation through Community Health Workers (CHWs) addressing health, nutrition and environment issues. • Overseeing the School Meals Program in the targeted schools in the program area. • Preparing Monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports. • Planning, budgeting and monitoring program activities • Overseeing and accurately monitoring all children enrolled in the program. • Responding effectively to sponsor queries whenever they arise. • Effective, timely, and accurate facilitate child replies to sponsor-specific letters. • Keeping a diary for the project and ensuring the timely honoring of commitments. • Conducting stakeholders meeting to receive inputs before reviewing program performance.
