About me

An accomplished professional with over 5 years of work experience in development and humanitarian programs. My experience includes designing, implementing and evaluating large scale Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Family Planning, Social Behavior Change, Gender transformation, Economic Empowerment and Community Engagement and working with youth on SRHR in particular. Equally important, I have a strong academic record with solid learning abilities. Currently, seeking a challenging position with a reputable organization and make desirable changes to the organization and the community it serves.

Social and Behavior Change Communication Officer
AfriYAN Tanzania 2021-05-03 - 2023-10-04 Work collaboratively with Regions and councils demand creation leads, PEs, Volunteer Community Mobilizers, CSOs and other community networks to develop sustainable demand creation and advocacy strategies and local capacity for sustainability particularly in combination with Reproductive Maternal Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health mostly to (AGYW).
Youth & AGYW Projects Associate
Tanzania Bora Initiative 2018-11-05 - 2019-12-31 Participated in the recruitment and orient 125 CBHSPs covering 20 wards in Mikumi and Handeni Districts. Conducted hotspot mapping and roll out of SBCC and Gender activities regularly, Supported capacity building to 125 CBHSP during field visit on monthly basis. Supervised community Based Home Testing and Counseling Services to more than 1000 KVP in both District wards.
National Volunteer at International Citizen Service (ICS)
Restless Development 2017-02-06 - 2017-10-31 Contribute to development of training curricula and course outlines, planning logistics of trainings and facilitating training sessions and on-the-job trainings of PEs, Volunteer Community Mobilizers and Other community-based cadres. Coordinate 4 performance assessment meeting with R/CHMT team for campaigning visibility and result based improvement. Ensure smooth implementation of the online Campaign by engaging more youths and share their views on Adolescent Youth Friendly Services (AYFS).
