WEIGHBRIDGE OPERATOR - SEED CO TANZANIA

Seed Co Tanzania, a leading supplier of crop seeds, seeks to recruit a capable and experienced Weighbridge Operator. Seeking to recruit a competent and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately recording and monitoring all incoming and outgoing loads while ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge system to record vehicle weights (inbound and outbound) accurately.
• Verify and document all deliveries and dispatches in line with company procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation of goods received and dispatched, including issuing weighbridge tickets.
• Monitor vehicle movements and ensure adherence to site procedures and safety requirements.
• Report any discrepancies, overloads, or irregularities in loads to management.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Ensure the weighbridge area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, and transport teams for smooth operations.
• Assist in stock reconciliation and audits where required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years' experience in a similar role (weighbridge/warehouse/logistics environment).
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, data entry systems).
• Strong attention to detail and integrity.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
