American Chamber of Commerce Tanzania

The American Chamber of Commerce in Tanzania is an independent non-profit business association that works to promote and increase bilateral trade, commerce, and investment between the United States and Tanzania. Originally started as the American Business Association in 2005 and later accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in 2010, the organization serves as a central networking forum and advocacy platform. It connects U.S. citizens, U.S.-controlled corporations, and local Tanzanian businesses engaged in international trade. Members gain access to policy forums, regulatory insights on taxation and legal frameworks, and regular dialogues with key government officials and U.S. Embassy representatives.
