Azania Bank Limited is a Tanzanian commercial bank offering a range of financial services, including retail and corporate banking, lease financing, foreign exchange transactions, and import/export financing. Established in 1995, the bank has expanded its operations through strategic acquisitions, notably acquiring the assets and liabilities of Bank M in January 2019, which increased its total assets to approximately TSh1.339 trillion (US$582 million) at that time.
