Overview
Bunda District Council administers Bunda District in the Mara Region of Tanzania, established on 1 January 1984 under the District Authorities Act. The district covers about 2,078 km², bordering Musoma Rural and Butiama to the north, Serengeti to the east, Bariadi and Busega to the south, and Lake Victoria to the west. Its administrative center is Bunda Town, located on the main highway connecting Kenya and Zambia, and positioned 70 km south of Musoma and just west of Serengeti National Park.
