Overview
The Christian Social Services Commission (CSSC) is a major faith-based, ecumenical organization in Tanzania, jointly established in 1992 by the Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC) and the Christian Council of Tanzania (CCT). CSSC works through its network of member churches, dioceses and provinces to facilitate and coordinate provision of social services especially health and education across the country. It supports church-owned schools, hospitals, clinics, dispensaries, pharmacies and other health facilities, with particular attention to those in rural and underserved communities.
