Overview
Coop Bank Tanzania emerged from the merger of Kilimanjaro Cooperative Bank Limited (KCBL) and Tandahimba Community Bank (TCBL) on May 26, 2024, embodying cooperative banking’s collaborative spirit across Tanzania. The bank received a transitional license from the Bank of Tanzania on July 23, 2024, and began full operations on October 1, 2024.
